Introduction to Arabic
Start your journey by mastering the core fundamentals of Arabic. This level will equip you with the essential tools to recognize and understand basic Arabic structures. By the end of this stage, you’ll notice a significant improvement in your ability to identify concepts that were once unfamiliar. However, this is just the beginning—there’s much more ahead!
Intermediate Arabic
Now that you have a solid foundation, it’s time to start reading! In this level, you’ll dive into the Story of Ibrahim from Qasas an-Nabiyeen, gaining your first experience with Arabic texts. To ensure a smooth transition, all readings will include vowels. By the end of this level, you’ll be able to categorize all Arabic words and have a deeper understanding of verb conjugations. Brace yourself—the real challenge begins here!
Advanced Arabic I
Repetition is key to mastery—after all, as the Arabic proverb says, "Repetition can even teach a donkey!" This level reinforces everything you’ve learned so far while expanding your vocabulary through the Story of Yusuf. You’ll start feeling more confident in reading, but don’t get too comfortable just yet—now, it’s time to turn up the heat and acquire a new skill.
Advanced Arabic II
In this level, you’ll take a major step forward by reading unvoweled Arabic text for the first time. The Story of Nuh from Qasas an-Nabiyeen will be your gateway to transitioning into authentic Arabic reading. This stage challenges you to rely on your growing knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure to read fluently without assistance.
Applied Arabic I
Now comes the exciting leap—you will begin reading Tafseer of Surah Maryam from Safwat al-Tafaaseer. While this will be a challenge, the progress you’ve made in the first four levels will surprise you. This is the moment when everything clicks—you’ll experience the realization that you can truly read and understand Arabic!
Applied Arabic II
This level focuses on the most frequently mentioned story in the Quran—the Story of Musa—with an emphasis on translation and linguistic analysis. You’ll deepen your appreciation of the Quran’s eloquence and style while also covering Matn al-Ajrumiyyah, a foundational text in Arabic grammar. By the end of this stage, you’ll have the tools to access the apparent meanings of the Quran with confidence.
Applied Arabic III
The final step of your journey takes you into deeper Hadith reading, expanding your vocabulary and refining your comprehension. By now, you have mastered the fundamentals, become comfortable with Quranic interpretation, accessed classical texts, and explored hadith literature. You’ve reached the end of the 7-Level series—a moment to celebrate! However, true learning is a lifelong journey, and this is just the beginning of what you can achieve with Arabic.
